The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (or FORS) is a voluntary scheme that demonstrates your company’s commitment to road safety. While it is not a compulsory accreditation, most fleet operators agree that FORS certification is essential for the growth and success of their business. Many customers will insist on their business partners being part of the scheme when conducting their due diligence process.

FORS certification is attained at three distinct levels: bronze, silver, and gold, each with its own specific vehicle safety requirements for passing. While the Bronze level merely requires adequate signage and mirrors for improved visibility, from the Silver level on, all vehicles in your fleet must have certain vehicle safety technology installed.
