Installations / Fleet Vehicle Safety / FORS
Here at Nationwide Fleet Installations, we do not believe that our responsibility to our fleet manager clients ends with installation. We understand how important it is that your equipment continues to operate at peak performance for the safety of your drivers and other road users. This is why we can offer a whole-life servicing and maintenance solution to all our clients, if needed, ensuring that your in-vehicle technology is fully functional throughout its lifespan.
We are committed to delivering first-class service for our clients for the entire life cycle of their vehicle technology choices. This is what you can expect from us:
If your fleet is on the road day after day, it’s only to be expected that your in-vehicle technology will experience some wear and tear. Being constantly put through its paces can result in deterioration for even the most robust devices. We can respond to service calls for your entire fleet, carefully repairing equipment suffering from poor performance. Each test and inspection is logged for your records, along with our recommendations for repairs or replacements.
If any of your vehicle technology has sustained damage, our skilled engineers will be able to identify the problem and recommend a solution. This may involve a simple repair, the replacement of individual components, or the replacement of the entire unit. Whatever the case, we will advise you of any additional work before we pursue it.
While actual damage might be rare, misaligned cameras, sensors, and other monitoring equipment are less so. The vibration of your vehicle as it travels around the country (particularly with the larger HGVs) has been known to shake devices askew on their mountings, which can lead to inaccurate measurements. This is a key concern for proximity alert equipment, cameras, and more. If any of your vehicle technology has fallen out of alignment, our local engineers will recalibrate it to ensure accurate performance once again.
